Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyGarageHub (the "Platform"), operated within South Africa. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account on MyGarageHub.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the vehicle photos, videos, posts, comments, and other content you upload ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant MyGarageHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for the User Content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

Post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent vehicle ownership or history.
Attempt to access another user's account or private garage data without authorization.
Upload malicious code or interfere with the Platform's operation.

5. Vehicle & Garage Data

Vehicle records, service history, and identifying details (such as VIN and registration number) that you add to your garage are private to your account by default and are not shown to other users. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is stored and protected.

6. No Warranty on Vehicle Information

MyGarageHub is a record-keeping and community platform. We do not verify the accuracy of vehicle history, service records, or listings entered by users, and make no warranty as to their completeness or correctness. Any decisions made based on information from the Platform (including classifieds or marketplace listings) are made at your own risk.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or pose a security risk to the Platform or other users.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyGarageHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, loss of vehicle records, or disputes arising from marketplace or classifieds interactions between users.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
